the signs of springn are everywhere. the daffodils nod in the breeze and my lettuce seed packets are burning a hole in my pocket.

one of the most iconic signs of spring are the return of the spring peepers. these tiny frogs are the size of a dime. In the spring they emege from the mud and begin looking for mates, They make chirping sounds that are similar to crickets in the summer , But maybe because they are much smaller than crickets or because they have a short window to accomplish their goal – they are so much louder. Their combined sound billows over the prairie like morning fog.
